Good morning, friends!
I hope you all had a refreshing weekend! Mine was pretty low key, but I did get out and about a bit.
Friday I got to meet my lovely friend for lunch. Q’doba of course… we needed to eat all the cheese. She’s getting married this summer, and I’m so excited! I have only ever gone to two friend’s weddings. Ever. Most of my friends either elope, are married already when I meet them, or don’t believe in marriage. I love weddings! She’s going to make a gorgeous bride!
My new phone is easier to take selfies, so I had to try it out. Come to think of it… I think my old phone had a viewing screen, too, but I never figured it out. Oops! Anyway…
Saturday I got to spend time with two favorites! My daughter and yoga!
We started off the morning watching Rio 2 and coloring.
Then Harlow helped me make smoothies using her new activity tower.
When this happened…
Thank God she wasn’t injured at all. She was stomping on it and it just snapped. She jumps on it over and over, and I’ve told her not to a hundred times. Chris assured me it wouldn’t break, but just as I feared, it did. Chris is going to make a new, reinforced one. So in case you are following the instructions on the blog I posted about this, just watch out for this. Maybe most kids aren’t as active as mine?
I squeezed in a half hour “class” during her short nap. (Seriously, this kid is killing me with her sleeping habits lately!)
I signed up for a free trial of Daily Burn on Roku today! I’m excited to check it out!
Sunday was a low key morning spent pulling out everything in the house. Is my kid the only one who loves shoe boxes and putting her shoes back in them?
We ran to MI City after nap to buy out Carters and The Children’s Place Outlet Stores. They were having insane sales! Like, $2.99 for pants and shirts!
I now have a full-fledged toddler. She’s officially in size 2T. My heart…
A couple of my favorite buys, although I loved everything we got (just most I can’t find online because they are clearance…):
Last night was rough. Harlow woke up at midnight, was up until 1:30am, then woke up again at 4am, and was up until I finally got her to come back to bed with me at 4:30am, then she was awake and rolling around for another hour. (Chris sleeps in the guest room on difficult nights to make things easier on me.) I woke up just before our alarm and saw Harlow sleeping with her head on Abbey, who had joined us on the bed when Harlow came in. If there had been any way to take a photo, I really would have. It was adorable.
Which led, inevitably, to this:
Caffeeeeeiiiiine… how I need you.
Have I mentioned this Concord Grape flavor of yogurt, yet? I tried it a couple of weeks ago and fell in love. It tastes just like grape juice! So delicious!
So now you’re all caught up! I know… some exciting stuff, huh?
