Household chore I actually enjoy:

I used to actually love to clean.  When I lived alone, my apartment was immaculate.  When I got married, every Saturday morning, I’d scour the whole house.  Since having Harlow, our house has turned into a pit.  So at this point, I don’t like to do ANY chores, because I just don’t have the time.  If I were forced to pick one, though, I’d say it has to be vacuuming because it makes such an instant difference.

Biggest house disaster:

I’d say the Master Bedroom.  That is where all the clutter goes to die.  I have piles of stuff I need to sort through and just don’t have the time to do it.

Before company arrives, I hide:

The main parts of the house are generally sort of picked up daily, so while we don’t really “hide” anything, we would go through and “straighten”.  Fluff pillows, fold blankets, that kind of thing.  The door to the Master Bedroom just gets closed…

Most recent music download:

It has been so long, I honestly can’t remember.  I keep a list of songs I hear and love.  Eventually, I break down and mass buy them from iTunes.  It has been a long time, though.  A quick mail search told me that my last downloads were from March of 2013 and were:

The last thing I bought online:

Three Sleep Sacks since Harlow is outgrowing her current ones and a kid’s song CD that turned out to be a download, not a CD, but I haven’t downloaded it, yet, which is why I didn’t put it above.  I know… you’re super jealous of my shopping cart.

I hate to shop for:

Groceries.  I detest grocery/toiletry shopping.  I know some people love it, but it is not my happy place.

Favorite family ritual:

Probably Harlow’s bedtime routine.  Chris takes Harlow while I’m getting stuff ready for her bathie.  When she hears the water running, she takes off running to her room yelling, “Nakey Baby!!!” and Chris gets her undressed.  Then she runs to the bathroom and all but leaps in the tub with her diaper still on.  After that, as I’m getting her in her jammies, Chris will come in to say goodnight.  It is all very sweet and cozy.  I love it.

I sleep in:

Usually yoga pants and a long sleeved t-shirt.  I’m always freezing.

I have a style crush on:

I always have and always will have a major style crush (and girl-crush in general) on Gwen Stefani.  She’s fabulous.

I’m currently reading:

I’m re-reading The Lincoln Lawyer.  Such a good book.

What’s up with the ____________ trend?

Half-shaved hair!  I just don’t get it…

How did I ever live without:

Google.  Seriously.  How did people exist without having everything they have a question about easily searchable at their fingertips?  Google has ended many a (friendly) argument for Chris and me.
